The Home Invasion jump jam, a local dirt jump course in Eugene, Or. hosting a bunch of local talent.
That course that would have Aaron Chase and Dave Mirra Salivating could exist in the middle of rural Oregon. We picked up Tyson's wife, Starlight, Who filmed with Ty, While I took some snap shots. Riders of all ages and skill levels came from all over Oregon to eat good food, listen to 80's rock, and catch a whole shit load of big air! The turn out was really good, A lot of old friend's catching up and making new one's at the same time. One minor injury happened, which was scary. But for these guys, The payoff far exceeds the risk. And even so, Every one that showed up, on a bike or not, had a great time
Unfortunatley, we had to leave early to head back to the tayberry jam for to film two reggae legends. First would be the beautiful voice of Queen Omega. Dedicating her performance to the children in attendance, Queen Omega showed why she is a favorite at reggae festivals in the northwest and around the world. She had a very hard time making it off the stage, as the crowd demanded encore after encore, to which she happily obliged Next up would Pablo Moses. With over thirty years on the reggae scene, Moses is one of the most respected performers in the industry. It was an honor and privilage, to capture and experience such a world renowned musician live. There were several other great acts at this years festival and I would need days to talk about them all. They might not have had the same sound, But all delivered a message of peace and love that created an amazing atmosphere in a usually desolate forest. Tyson had a chance to talk with Marv Ellis and Pablo Moses back stage, which you'll be able to see some of that in the upcoming documentary of this year's festival. Tyson should have the video from home invasion posted soon, if not already. You can also view pics from the event on my facebook. Even though we had a great time, It was nice to head home sunday afternoon to just chill and watch some movies. Hope ya'll had a great weekend too. Peace. which I will have the video links to the reggae shows shortly!
