Rastaman was the first trail I rode when I moved to VT. It's raw, technical nature had me feeling like I was in way over my head. As I progressed, I grew to really like the trail. Then, a stupid slip-up left me with a broken leg and 2 screws through my ankle. Now I'm recovered and I get along with Rastaman better than ever. Let's hope it stays that way.

Trail Bites: Saxon Hill Free Fall

Free Fall is the last trail most people hit because it ends right next to the parking lot. However, I often find myself pedaling back up to the top for seconds...or thirds...or fourths. This is the small line. The big line obviously has bigger jumps, but it's straight and kind of dull. The small line twists back and forth, and with a keen eye you can find some substantial gaps along the way.
