Schusler saves it!

Joey overjumps and rides wayShooting the big hip at the top of the Champery World Cup course was great on the first day when the sun shone in and the huge mountain smade a great backdrop. Then the rain came. I was about to walk away from this position and already fitted a wide lens when Yeti's Joey Schusler hit the lip with a bit too much speed. I kept the finger down as he nose-dived into the mud - check out his fully compressed bike and body! But somehow he managed to run wide into the tape and hang on. The conditions up there were pretty bad with rolling clouds and mist hence th eblack and white conversion which actually shows the jump with more clarity. Don't think Joey's seen it yet. Don't think he'll forget it in a hurry either.
