The snow has melted!

That's about it now. Winter is over and spring is on its way, sunrays are hitting the local park and the weather was super-awesome during last week. Winter is a distant memory now and summer is reminding of its existence!Five days and about 30 hours of riding. Is that enough to express the atmosphere amongst the local riders in Klaukkala? Yeah, well I suppose it isn't but to hell with that. We've waited four months for the quicksilver to rise above 10 degrees and the time has come.

Last week, from Monday through Friday, the weather was perfect. Around 15 degrees centigrade and cloudless skies, so the whole week passed by while on our bikes. There was visible progress and we got some nice pics too. Some lines that used to be so damn though and out of our league were so easy now. X-up railhops, 360s out of quarters, barspins, barspin to distaster, etc.. Not the most amazing trick but - from my point of view - "the coolest photo" -award goes to Henkka and his picture of a vader jam executed on a ditch we built:

Oh, we reconstructed the whole skatepark. It is a small spot with a tiny amount of obstacles, which were scattered all around the place making good lines impossible. Now we have basically brought all the "stuff" to the other half of the park, which makes it a good place to ride. You can find corners, wallrides, miniramps, quarters, boxes and railhops now.

What made the week even more special was that almost our whole crew was present! Usually it is only me and Timmo, sometimes Tuomas, but now the whole gang - except for Harri, the little f***tard was studying in the north - was there shredding. Timmo even managed to get a little fanclub of around five tweleve-year-old girls . Furthermore, even Jonttu and Juuso were there, those bastards usually hang around with their girlfriends all the time so you kinda have to book a time to meet them.

Very special thanks to all the guys at the park with us and our photographer/rider dudes Henkka and Tuomas. I am looking forward for more of these jams and maybe then we will have Harri and Eikku - who just bought a BMX - riding with us also.
