There is a new Urban Festival being held in Charlottetown, PEI next week end. This is the first real BMX competition held here with the exception to a few others. There will be Wakeboard and Skateboard too. So come down and check it out at the Peaques Quay Waterfront May 15-17.Well if you don't live on PEI you wouldn't understand that this is a very big deal. We don't get very many competitions and this one seems to have a lot of hype around it. A lot of planning has went into this competition and there has been a separate skate park built.

If you want to sign up for the Smooth Cycle BMX throwdown you can do so at http://http://fringeurban.com/bmx.pdfThere will be a lot of local talent in this competition.

You seem to always hear about all the big competition is Whistler or in Colorado or Utah but most people don't seem to here about the little place like Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

There are three different categories to sign up in, so if you want to sign up they will place you in the right one according to your skill level.

For the Full Schedule check out http://http://fringeurban.com/schedule.pdf

It is going to be a great over all weekend to just come out, chill have a good time and ride. Also if you skateboard or skimboard there will be separate competitions.
