My New Street Build '09

I've decided that I'll start building up a street bike. This will be my second bike and I plan on making it a decent build but on a tight budget. I'll be updating this blog everytime I get a new part or make a new decision on parts. Let's see what I can do!Hey Pinkbike! This is my blog about my street bike build. April 8th, 09 - Alright, so today is the first day of the build, starting with the frame. I just bought my new Cove Sanchez frame. Wicked deal only $160 with The Pig DH PRO headset. Great condition, not a scratch I can find. (Only 1 on the decals)

April 18th, 09 - Yes!!! I got my 2009 Marzocchi DJ2 for only $200! Amazing condition.

I would put the fork on, but I need a new headset.

April 19th, 09 = Alright! I got a sick deal. MTX Wheelst, Specialized saddle, Truvativ Holzfeller stem, Demo handlebars, and Avid juicy 3 rear brake all for $200!

April 22nd, 09 - Went to Sport Swap and picked up a new headset and got it pressed for $25. FSA Pig. Had to cheap out as the pro one was $50 more. Oh well. When I got home, I noticed that I forgot the box at the store so now I need to go back and pick up the parts. Oh well Hopefully I can build it up this weekend

April 23rd, 09 - Finally got the headset parts and got the fork on the frame Smile So now I got the frame,fork,headset,stem,bars and front wheel on the bike!
