Hooah, I rode again!

The Misadventures of a Fat Bastard.It has been about a month since I last rode. Winter has reared it fugly bitter cold head and I am couch bound again between workdays. The last couple of times out were great. The outing prior to the most recent was epic, Marv, Cory, Doug, and I sessioned Pinehill Park putting in 11.7 miles in. It was a great day on the 20th of November. It was unseasonably warm and sunny making it a great day. The majority of the trails had been raked and blown, so they were nice and buff; making for some awesome singletrack shredding! I had way to much fun and was very happy for several days. My grundel on the other hand was extremely angry though... need to get some butt'r before I ride like that again.

The last outing was good, but it would have been better if it lasted. It was cold, but a fairly nice day. Being an early ride in the middle of December in Vermont it went better than expected. It was just Marv and I and we had to cut it short because Marv had to go to work later that afternoon. Man I should have dropped him off at home and gone back, but I definitely fine it hard to go riding when noone is with me. I don't seem to push myself as hard or have the desire to pin it! But, them's the breaks! I can't wait for spring though. I am looking at getting a 2011 Fuel EX 9 or a Specialized BigHitIII. Since I ride Pinehill park the most the Fuel is the more obvious choice to go with, but I am a gravity inspired rider at heart and miss riding big bikes. Its anyone's guess what it'll be... any takers?
