Torrance quarry (the rebuild)

Where i live there is no freeride for miles so i decided to get the finger out and go trail hunting........By chance someone told me about an old abandoned quarry which people used to mountainbike on and is never dog walked or had the previous stuff destroyed so thinking it was just over the hill i would go and have a look...bad idea it took me 50 mins of cycling on an xc bike with clips and it was all up hill. Once i got there i was amazed this place was massive and had some serious huck potential. So i organized a group of us to go up the next weekend and build. We must have built for an hour and more or less just pissed around jumping of the cliffs into loose slate and having a look at possible lines. So 1 month later ive decided its going to get built up for the summer its already got its first freeride line more or less done which starts with a steep roll in onto a 11 foot drop with a 5 foot gap to the lander :O leading onto a hip, stepup, wall ride, bomb hole and a small step down at the end. This place is going to have a huge pump track and some more freeride and dh as there is already a supersteep/tech dh track there so drop us a message if your interested in coming up or helping, building.

cheers
