Hi everybody, it's spring and mountain bike trails are popping up everywhere. We've been busy building new trials at Pooley Country Park just off the M42 junction 10.

This is a Pooley trails video of the black trail. This video is unfinished and so is the trail but the trail is hoping to be up and running this summer. With the permission of council and the Rangers, we have been building two trials with features ranging from berms switchbacks big doubles. Also nice easy stuff like red trails with flowing berms and tiny tables rollers etc...

All skilled riders can ride Pooley trails ranging from children to adults to the novice rider to people who are just outright nuts.

I've been up there today and had a few runs down the black trail with neil and to be honest I'm very impressed, you can see where the time and effort has gone in, I know Neils always been keen on building trails so I'm glad he's had a change to put his skills to good use, I see good things coming from this place in the next few months, thanks again neil

Just a note to everyone, the trails aren't currently open to the public just yet. All being well they will be open June 2016. (We are just awaiting for the trail notice board to go up from the council and the lower trail to firm up / dry out)

I live near this and have biked here a few times , seems like a lot of time and effort has gone in to these trails , would be interesting to see how they are tied into the existing trails as a loop or is it just downhill as they seem to be lacking a definitive direction as to the type of trail . Will pop up and have a look as it's nice to see locals putting back into the community but when it comes to jumps , sometimes less is more as they kill the flow and speed in some sections

Hi, they are standalone freeride trails. They have a defined start and stop point and won't officially tie into the existing footpath network at Pooley. "Jumps kill flow" ??? you've been riding the wrong trails then mate. The jumps here are build right and make the trail flow. You don't have to put in a single pedal on the black if you ride it properly.
