Choices

So, Ive decided! and that is what is important, because I need to get back on the trail...

OK..

So, all I need is: 1 Salsa promoto 2 100mm stem -25 degree! and , 1 new raceface seat-post! Im good to go go! I can handle switching out on the trail. no big deal!

What I find fascinating is how 100mm stem and a low front end position can change everything!

At some-point I will be looking at a dropper post. I do not need one in the areas that I ride. All my riding is as for as I can peddle the bike! its 4 miles to the reservoir!

Technically speaking, there is plenty that I can create in this little reservoir park!
---------------------------------------

Ive been looking at seat positioning and flow when riding inner city!

A few things Ive noticed.

1. with short stem, 50mm and low seat! Im finding that slow is flow!
2. body position is strict to gain flow or flow position! flow must be in a relaxed state and come from the legs and in centered position. However, this is a slow boat. the bike is not moving fast. and when the bike is set up for Free ride! or SS inner city stuff! Its slow, Im moving slowly, looking around for things to jump off! In my case, they are small things, Im over 50! or almost over 50!

3. The trail makes you want to go fast, or move forward, not float around! I do not like this. I would like to spend my time learning how to ride a free ride bike correctly on a trail as is, even slow! Why does one have to go fast!

I suppose every trail is suppose to be like a roller-coaster; its suppose to be fast moving. For the sake of flow, I see slow moving and staying in the seat... I will practice.

4. Practice slowly makes perfect! its not easy maintaining center relaxed positioning on the trial. Im into balance! and this is more important then speed! but the tendency to roll fast is overwhelming.. balance must be practiced, not speed. I want to be able to roll slow and steady or stately in the centered position, relaxed.

5. Wheel size! Well, I don't know! Im not interested. and Im mad about that. I would love to believe that wheel size will change something. I can gain the same effect with a longer stem! Balance is more important then wheel size creating stabilization.

6. A stem and a seat post, and Im ready to create...

7. Ive done nothing to in-hance the place that I ride. It is a huge place, I can come up jumps and other stuff if I want..

Time to order!
