Here at PMBA Enduro, we have tried to appeal to grassroots riders, and especially the younger riders and women. Since 2013 we have been putting on grassroots enduro events and this investment into the future is really paying off, we have four fast young racers that are PMBA success stories. From starting their enduro racing with PMBA Enduro are now looking at worldwide racing success, and the PMBA are supporting them as best we can. For this video we have teamed up with our media partners WhiteNoSugar Productions to put a spotlight on Callum Russell.

Callum and Jim Topliss, "The Wet Lettuces", were our first ambassadors since starting the program in 2015, now in 2018 they are joined by Martha Gill and Tom Wilson. Jim raced our very first enduro back in 2013, which was his first enduro and only his 3rd ever event. But, by 2014 he dragged his downhiller mate Callum along to Gisburn to race his first enduro. At that same event, Martha and Tom were also doing their first enduros; Martha had 3 XC races under her belt at that time and had to borrow a bike to race the enduro.

These 4 have gone onto great success, both at the PMBA Enduros and wider events; all have raced at EWS level and last year Martha was U21 women's World Champ! Understandably, we are passionate about these racers when we have had a part in breeding such success. We hope that highlighting their success will encourage even more new talent to race enduro. The PMBA Ambassadors

2017 saw a big year for our events – mixing both grassroots events and national standard enduros. As well as the varied series events we hosted the inaugural BEMBA National Enduro Champs at Graythwaite, and also organised the biggest women's only event of the year: the Hopetech Women's Enduro. 2018 is looking to be equally as big, when entries went on sale at the start of the month it took just 7 hours to sell out the first event. And as it stands Rounds 1 and 2 are sold out and the Hopetech Women's Enduro in October has just 20 spaces left before the 300 entry limit.

There is more information on the PMBA Enduro events here.
