A mtb riding trip goes from 800 miles to 1600 miles and I go through 3 bikes LMAOOnce upon a time I bought a wall-mart fall apart hardtail schwinn which I rode for about a month, just long enough to get used to being on a bike again (hadn't even been on a bike since I was like 14). So then I decide that I want to up grade to a full suspension wall-mart fall apart, just before my fiancé and I went on a big mtb trip to capital forest. Well needless to say I didn’t really try it before or after I bought it. We just loaded it on the bike rack and headed out. We get to capital forest and it had mad brake rub from the rim being bent ahaha, so off to find a wall-mart somewhere in Olympia, Wa. We return the bike and go to find a K-mart Fall apart bike and back to a different trail.
This bike now wasn’t all that bad except that we were riding xc trails mainly up hill. I do not really care to ride up hill a lot but as long as my 1:1 is easy I won’t complain the whole way. But my poor fiancé had to listen to me whine the whole way cause the 1:1 was like his 1:3 and I was getting tired wishing that I would have just kept my schwinn with an easy 1:1 and no bent rims.
So back to k-mart and on our way to Bellingham we decided to stop at toys’r’us. Now mind you my fiancé is about to kill me. He is tired of fixing my fall apart bikes and ready to just make me hike the rest of the trails by my self lmao. We still go into toys’r’us and get me another schwinn and head out again. We get to this other trail set and we start riding. Everything is going just peachy keen. When all the sudden I hit a bump and my f*ck saddle leans all the way back almost putting me right into my back tire. I was pissed!!! So I bent it back and kept riding and almost every bump I hit my saddle would fall back, so at one point I turned my seat completely around and just rode it backwards lmao it was totally lame and I was so embarrassed but what could I do? Anyway headed back down the trail standing the whole way and went home and guess what we returned that bike too!!!
