Royal Racing Slice Jersey

So I purchased this bad boy a few months ago and thought I would give you guys the low down on it. Prices on line vary from £21-£33.


Manufactured in “General Issue Plus Fabric” it gives a great soft fell when wearing it, think of a nice soft base layer and you won’t be far off how it feels. It runs a taped rear neck seam which screams the high quality and thought that Royal put in to their products, a further bonus is no itching from a label as all instructions etc are heat transferred on. Size wise I ordered a large but probably should of gone medium as the Royal gear is a bit more generous on sizing than other brands, arms and torso are also a good length for taller riders. The bonus of the large is it allows me to run armour under it on uplift days etc.


The fit is casual, kinda loose and the graphics are also screen printed to add to that quality product, on the trail it is a joy to wear and layered right you could wear it pretty much all year. The moisture wicking properties are also good. I would grab this as a lightweight jersey to wear over a decent base layer etc on trail rides in autumn / winter, in spring / summer it should be fine on its own.



Excellent stitching comes as standard

There are no pockets or other features such as glasses wipe etc, the jersey is a straight up jersey for all MTB disciplines and should last you a good while to come. At the price point and the versatility and quality you get, it’s a bit of a bargain
