New French team aims to give promising young riders a foot up to racing the World Cup circuit.

Stemtee Nukeproof will attack the 2016 French and World Cup downhill season.

Fronted by revered mechanic Hugues Postic, previously personal mechanic to Fabien Barel, Stemtee Nukeproof’s goal is not commercial profit but to boost talented young riders up to World Cup level with the kind of support usually reserved for the pros.

In its inaugural season on the circuit, Stemtee Nukeproof already has an impressive list of backers ranging from private ventures to some of the sport’s biggest firms. To start on this scale is no mean feat, but the sponsors’ trust speaks volumes of their confidence in Hugues and his project.

So, what is it and who will be riding for Stemtee Nukeproof?


RIDER: With 2016 a test season, the team will focus its efforts on one rider – 19-year-old Dylan Levesque from Millau, France. With a background in motocross and an interest in all things two-wheeled, Dylan’s enthusiasm, positivity and professional attitude made him the obvious choice.

With a podium result in his first outing with the team, he looks forward with great anticipation to the opening World Cup in Lourdes.
