Lourdes was officially a race for the ages!
A wild track, a huge crowd and changeable weather made for an amazing season opener!
The team had a mixed bag results wise. Tracey Hannah rode a super clean race and came away with a 4th on the podium - this was good considering her qualification problems - well done!
In the men's main event Andrew Neethling took the hotseat and eventually held on for a 31st position . Both Mick Hannah and Alex Fayolle experienced difficulty in their runs . Mick, riding with an injury had a mechanical issue to hinder him with a 51st.
Alex, performing in front of his home crowd after a stunning 11th qualifying attempted to ride down on a flat tire, drawing huge cheers from the crowds, The good point was that Alex was 11th at the split time before his incident showing great speed.
We have to say that the race organization was great with a huge crowd coming throught the whole course, and also in the pit where we enjoyed bringing our full truck set up back to the race.
Once again, thanks our awesome sponsors and welcome to our new sponsors this year, Ilabb, High 5 sports nutrition, KS and Galfer Brake.
