 | "Why do some former pro athletes get into ebike riding? Are they getting lazy? Some probably are. Others see new challenges and new levels of fun! When I'm not doing the Pump for Peace and Velosolutions thing, I don't want to spend my time driving to a bike park, waiting in queues or sitting on a chairlift. I want to ride right from my doorstep in Chur. Yes, true, I can do that on an acoustic bike as well, but I would never have as much fun on the tricky climbs and not get as many proper downhill runs into a quick after work ride. On top of that, the speed of the ebike even allows me some time on the guitar... The brands that I ride with are all contributing to Pump for Peace on multiple levels and it has helped us grow Pump for Peace in Nepal, Armenia, Kenya and Rwanda this year. Biggest of thanks" |
