With minimum backing from federations Robin decided in a young age to make downhill racing his life. Starting to import bike parts at age 16 just to found him and his brothers racing, it quickly evolved and after a couple of years he created his own world cup team. Robin has done everything on his own and in this video you get a glimpse of a pretty driven guy and his way of doing things.

Robin decided to spend two days of filming with the kid that put in the most runs in the bike park Alfred Widell, a 11-year-old kid that rode 101 days and did 700 runs during last summer. For many years Åre has been the proving ground for young skiiers in Sweden and by the looks of things it's starting to do the same thing for mountainbiking.

We were lucky enough to get to escape the worst and darkest part of the Swedish winter and head over to California for a few weeks to get to do some training without any snow. Some of it got caught on tape so we managed to get this edit together that hopefully can help you get through the rest of your winter! Big thanks to everyone that made this trip possible!

Fresh of a European cup win in Spicak Robin traveled straight up to Åre to do some training and riding. Åre has always been a special place for Robin, this is where he got to ride downhill for the first time when he was 12 years old and 13 years later he´s still super exited to be back in town and do some riding.

We have spent the week in Åre riding the bikepark during the days and doing xc or dirtjumping in the evenings, having a bit of fun and getting ready for the next couple of races. Fortunate enough a tiny bit of the riding was captured on tape, hope you like it!

After a bit of editing we can finally bring you Straight Outta Sweden 4. Each year we feel that it has been improved a lot but we want to keep it as a “just for fun-film” just to show the world whats going on with the Swedish scene and also to get recognition for some of the young and promising talent coming out of Sweden.
