We headed out to Green River, UT, an established freeride spot, to get a shot of Eliot Jackson whipping out in his signature moto style. But after searching and building lines for days none of the jumps were working. So we did what racers do best, find a turn and rail it. Turns out Eliot can carve a berm, waking up early for the good light was another story.
As newbies to Green River just finding the "established" riding zones was an unexpected ordeal. After a day of asking around, we traveled past an indiscriminate gate and down a long dirt road... Eventually familiar features began to emerge. Determined to craft unique lines, our first build attempt was this drop into a massive lip. Unfortunately the jump did not work but Eliot made the basic roll-in look stylish.
After searching and building lines for days, none of the jumps were working for Eliot to whip out in his signature moto-style. So we did what racers do best: find a turn and rail it. Early morning shred session on an untracked section of green river.
Eliot is know for his moto-style scrubs. Although we could not find or build the right take-off to suit his particular needs he did drag pedal and almost rotor on the backside of this take off. Still pretty nasty.
Eliot is not an early riser to say the least, but he endured a few early mornings until we got clear enough skies to hit this line. Shown here trying to keep warm just a few minutes before the light hit the berm and he started burning in a rut. Half an hour later he was bar dragging the corner, no problem.
