The last great 26" All Mountain bike with modern geometry! As brands scramble to adapt to the new normal of long top tube and slack head angle, Kona was already there.
Slack head angle? Check - 66 degrees
Long top tube so you can run a short stem and not look like a monkey riding a tricycle? Check - 16.7" Reach measurement
Great shock? Check - Rockshox Monarch RC3 (three position compression damping adjustment - Open, Trail, Climb)
Stealth routing? Check - run your favourite dropper without clumsily zip tying it to the frame (do that if you want!)
Cool Rockshox fork that everyone loves? Check! Buy the Pike as well!
This bike is USED, not new. So expect some cable rub and A few scratches. No dents or any frame write offs. Nothing that you wouldn't expect from a bike that has been ridden for 18 months, but it has been looked after. I'll leave the BB (RaceFace preffit for Shimano/RaceFace cranks), headset (FSA Orbit for tapered steer tube forks) and Kona bolted seatpost clamp. Both headset and BB are smooth and have lots of life left. I'll also chuck in 3 pairs of tires : 2.5 EXO minion dhf, continental Baron and specialized Eskar. All with plenty of life left.
I also have a 160mm Pike RCT3 that is available with the frame for $550 - so $1550 frame, forks, headset and BB. Fork was new in May, and rebuild with a fresh CSU in September.
Not so small print:
Fork is not available separately unless the frame is sold. Not looking to ship to the US - it'll probably be $200 if you want to pay that, I'm down.
