1998 Town & Country LX 3.8 liter FWD, 25 mpg highway. Leather, cruise control, power windows, door locks, premium sound, captains chairs, dual sliding doors, alloy wheels, tow package. Tags are good until December 2015.
The best running and most well-loved 240,000 mile Town and Country in the world. In great running shape with a new rebuilt transmission 20,000 miles ago. Clean title, second owner. First owner was a family friend, an old guy who also did lots of regular maintenance. I'm selling this van to buy a bigger van. Just took it to my shop and they gave it a big thumbs up for resale, said the engine is running great. You have to drive this thing, it runs like a top and drives like new. Give me a call and ask me anything.
Lots of regular maintenance by owner. Replaced in last 30,000 miles:
Front brakes
Tie-rods and shocks
Engine mounts
Transmission
Right head gasket
Connecting rod bearings
Ignition Coil, battery, spark plugs, and wires
Alternator
AC Compressor
Air Filter
Tires
Radiator, radiator cap, and thermostat
Rear exhaust manifold and crossover pipe
Catalytic Converter and O2 sensors
Dashboard climate control panel
Windshield and wipers
Oil change every 3,000 miles
Some scratches, some cracks, and a dent in the exterior and paint, and the AC doesn't work.
Transmission rebuild was performed last year by Larry Morton's Transmission Service in Oregon City. Vehicle comes with an extra set of alloy wheels and the Chrysler Shop Manual if interested.
Price is firm. I know what you're thinking- it has a lot of miles on it. Drive this car and you'll see why the price is the price. If you are thinking about buying a $1000 car, spend $1200 and buy this one. You'll be happy you did.
