The Lapierre Spicy is is a do it all bike: 150mm of plush, rock gobbling suspension that pedals superbly when you need it to. The Spicy was designed and refined specifically for races like the Megavalanche and the EWS, where the good times are gravity fueled but winning means pointing it uphill, too. It thrives on massive descents punctuated with rock and root filled chunder but it will take you back to the top to do it all over again with a minimal amount of monkey motion. Geometry is shown above (in metric).

This bike was built this from the frame up and is not a stock build.

• Fork: 2015 Kashima coated Stealth graphic Fox float 34 CTD adjust (this is the good one with 7 clicks of adjustability). The original fork was sent in for service and replaced with a brand new one that has only 3 rides on it.
• Rear shock: 2015 Kashima Coated Fox Float CTD adjust (again, the good CTD adjust and valved specifically for this bike)
• BB: Chris King
• Headset Chris King
• Drive Train: SRAM XX1
• Brakes: SRAM X0 Trail Brakes with carbon lever blades/200mm front/180mm rear rotors--the dual piston caliper is identical the guide brakes, and the master cylinder has reach and caliper bite adjusters.
• Cockpit: Easton 35 carbon Haven 750mm bars with an Easton Haven 50mm stem
• Seat post: Rockshox Reverb stealth dropper post with the remote mounted on the underside of the left side of the bar
• Grips: ODI TLD lock ons
• Wheels: Easton Vice--NOT the Heist wheels pictured. I'm keeping those.
• Tires: Schwalbe Hans Damph trailstar 2.35 front and pacestar 2.25 rear
• Saddle: SDG Duster saddle branded for Lapierre
• Extras: 2 spare rear derailleur hangers. Bushing rebuild kit for the bushings in the chain stay/seat stay pivot (all the rest are bearings that can be found at a bearing supply store). New shifter cable and housing.

• Bike weight without pedals: 28.01 lbs/12.7 kg

I had a lot of fun on this bike, and as a result there are a few beauty/love marks, but these are all purely cosmetic and are shown in photos above. The bike saw regular suspension service, cable and housing changes, and chain swaps. The XX1 cassette is used but in good shape.

I'm not a bike shop so unless you are picking this up locally, buyer pays $90 USD total for this bike to be professionally packed, insured, and shipped to you via UPS. Shipping within the continental US only (Happy to ship to Hawaii and AK, as well as US territories, but you'll need to up the shipping fee as UPS charges a premium for that).
