the domed over section closest to the camera in this pic is a good example of a "monster roller" style box jump. . . . how you can make something that is the size of a small tabletop or box jump, yet add the dome to make it a monster roller.... this design is good for when you want stuff on the wood pump track that is jumpable, but you also have beginners or non-bmx non-DJ guys (recreational riders) trying to ride the pump track.

Bikeparkitect PumpTrack Eurobike. The key thing to note here is that they used transition-faced berms--i.e. much more like cement skatepark/bikepark bowl corners. This is a waaaay better design than flatbank berms.
Even though this thread is focused on wood/lumber pump tracks, might as well consider other "alternative" materials.
My impression (without riding it) is they did an excellent job on roller shape and spacing, as well as berm shape (transitioned face "bowl corner" style).
Claudio Caluori sent over this quick write up, photos and even video from a public asphalt pumptrack project he'd been working on in Chur, Switzerland. Looks like a blast to ride!
I came across this pic on Facebook. The main thing to note about this wooden pump track is that is has excellent berms--they are in the transitioned-face "bowl corner" style (which would be common in bmx and skateparks). This style of berm holds the rider in the turn at multiple different angles, whereas a flat bank berm only holds a rider ideally at one angle (or at the variations of that angle where the tires still have traction).

An indoor ramp park is not, strictly speaking, a wooden pump track . . . BUT, a lot can be learned about layout of one-directional trails style lines. A loop of jumps is significantly different bikepark setup than the traditional setup of having a box jump in the middle and quarter pipes on two ends.
Also, the curved-over corners on these are excellent. Basically, bmx track-style mixed with trails style. Note the step-up box jumps.........
