I've been to Winter Park, Keystone, Granby (formerly Sol Vista), Vail, and Whistler to ride DH.
Can anyone tell me how Mammoth and Big Bear compare? Variety of trails? Features ? Rugged DH vs Flow? Prices? Quality of rental bikes?
Thanks!

Big Bear is "groomed". It is mostly fast and flowy.
All the gnarly trails outside the park have been plowed so you're stuck with the stuff in the park.
Its fun but doesn't hold a candle to Mammoth. Mammoth has fast and flowy (groomed, pavers etc.) or just trashed gnarly if you want. Way more stuff at Mammoth. For me Big Bear is a second choice (it is way closer to home), Mammoth is preferred because I like gnarly un-groomed
