doubt it. This thread is always one - two pages of the same shit posted over and over until it goes dead. then months later the cycle just repeats.

I was drunk and got a good laugh out of the top post. Was commenting on the winning gem opening up page 525.

Nothing new to contribute, everything my friends and parents dont understand about the lifestyle has been covered by others. We all get it. The friends we ride with get it. Many just dont and wont.

They don't understand how gnarly some trails get. This is especially true with roadies. I'm never going mountain biking with my roadie friend again. He described a secret trail as 'steep' and 'gnarly'. It turned out to be a fire road with rocks no bigger than 2 inches.

O+

To which the only reply is "Why would you want to buy 5 Xbox One's?" Haha

haha so true man! MY roadie friend is always asking questions or will say stuff like:

So, what's the point of a downhill bike if I can't ride it up hills?

What's the point of shuttling?

I enjoy the uphills more than the downs.

He recently just bought a 29er remedy and he keeps telling that he's been 'breaking it in" on pavement roads

some roadie i work with asked me if i did competitions in bmx or not, to which i replied no.

"why not?"

"most people that do are over competitive dickbags"

"no, they aren't dicks, thats how you win, by being competitive"

"I ride for fun, and being around them is not fun, so I do not go into competitions, everything is a contest for them and they are too competitive"

"well thats how you win, you win by training and being competitive"

"the minute I start referring to what I do as 'training' is the minute I stop riding bmx, I do it for fun, I do not give a shit about winning"

seriously, do not even try with roadies, its a lost cause lol
