Did you miss out on a place in next year's Trans-Provence? Already done a big multi-day event and now looking for your next big challenge? There's a new kid on the block that might be of interest......

Trans-Savoie Race Event Registration - Dates Announced.
Registration opens Tuesday 2nd January 2013 at 18:00 GMT (19:00 CET; 12:00 CST/USA)
The inaugural event will take place 17th to 24th August 2013 (with six days of racing commencing 08:30 on 18th August).
This uplift-assisted multi-day Enduro event adopts a familiar rally-style format to that of similar events such as the Trans-Savoie, but throws Ski-lift uplifting, 3000m peaks and monster 1200m-vertical special stages into the mix. It begins at Val d'Isere and traverses the Savoie region of France, ending in Chamonix, covering 250km+ with a total altitude loss in excess of 20,000m.
The race package includes accommodation, catering, and logistical support such that all entrants can focus 100% on the racing, with an equal footing to all other competitors.

Entries will be allocated on first-come-first-served basis, as judged by the order they are received after the above time & date. We’d advise getting in quick since entries are limited to 35 open-category competitors. (A further 15 spaces are pre-allocated for professional entries).

Enduro being the racing form of all-mountain MTB (itself being plain simple MTB), somebody explains me what all-mountain MTB Enduro racing is? Oh sorry! It's the evolution of it all...

Apart of the title (sorry for being so negative), I'll definitly try to enter it in 2014! That sounds like the perfect counterpart to the Trans-Provence: the northern part of the french Alps.

Would love to ride in this!!! In 2014 please don't put it on at the same time as Crankworx and we will be there!!! Can't wait!

This looks like an amazing route, 3 different lift systems per day! This will be epic I am sure. I think this will become the event of the season val to chamonix. Sweet. Hopefully everything spelt correctly. Apologies in advance for any typos which may offend anyone.
