Registration for Roc Des Alpes 2015 Now Open

For the third year, La Clusaz will welcome Roc des Alpes. From 12th to 14th June 2015, several thousand mountain-biking enthusiasts will come to enjoy the spectacular setting of the Aravis Mountains and Haute-Savoie in the purest Roc spirit. Registration has opened for an even further enhanced event.


There are certain dates that mountain-biking enthusiasts never forget to tick off on their calendars. The Roc des Alpes - La Clusaz is in the process of becoming one of these not-to-be-missed events that punctuate the season. On Monday 12th January, registration will open for the third edition of an event that will enable all its participants to discover the spectacular settings of Haute-Savoie and Savoie (for the Roc Marathon). To prolong the pleasure, registration will include a full one day pass to allow holders to continue to enjoy the resort during the summer of 2015.


The Roc des Alpes à la Clusaz aims to meet the expectations of as many people as possible, regardless of their cycling proficiency. The sporting programme made up of twenty events has been refined to provide even greater pleasure, comfort and safety along the routes.

- The routes have been re-designed, following feedback from the participants, to optimise the site’s possibilities.

- Two EnduRoc races have been scheduled (five specials on Friday and four on Saturday). In addition to a special price, an urban Super Special, in the heart of La Clusaz, is being developed for the participants in the two Endurance races.

- E-Roc, a race on electric mountain bikes, has been added to the programme. “Today, electric mountain-biking is a booming discipline,” explains Alexandre Maslin, event director. “We want to take part in this development and propose a new innovative race. Electric mountain bikes have genuine sporting potential. Up until now, we organised a simple ride for these types of bikes, but this season, the E-Roc route will be a tougher one, requiring genuine technical capabilities and venturing onto tracks on which participants would not be able to go on a traditional mountain bike”.


The quality of service offered to all the participants remains a priority for the organisers. Once again, the Roc Service Centre will be available to riders (for cleaning mountain bikes, in particular). Assistance from osteopaths and bicycle garages are some of the other services on offer. The exhibitors’ show is also an integral part of the Roc spirit. The show at Roc des Alpes – La Clusaz will be enlarged and re-equipped to ensure greater satisfaction of visitors’ and exhibitors’’ expectations. The Roc Test Camp will again offer the opportunity to enjoy free tests of partners’ and exhibitors’ products (bikes, equipment, accessories, etc.). A special application that has been developed for these tests (pre-registration possible, product catalogues, etc.) will further enhance the experience.

Sport, an exhibitors’ show and of course various events and activities will make Roc des Alpes – La Clusaz three days of celebration and enjoyment. The third edition of this event will respect all the Roc founding principles.
