Pretty sure enduro will become the dominant genre in mtb. Certainly for me, and imagine for many, it encompasses the aspects of riding that got people hooked. Covering ground at pace, feeling like a spartan when you destroy 'that' hillclimb and ripping back down it pretending to be A.N Other sponsored pro! Am I considering losing two inches of travel at each end to be able to go anywhere? Damn right I am. Haven't had a GT since I ran the original LTS DH and a zaskar le slalom bike many moons ago, but the new sanction enduro bike is strangely appealing. But I gather it's a bit marmite in looks department. Happily I like it. And marmite.
Oh boy.
