The weight of that machine it´s 13,7kgs including pedals, only the tires are 1070 grams each, so really prepare to face a real enduro.
About the ride, it´s hard to explain but basically it´s like a mini dh but really easy to hand due the short chainstay (430mm) and really confidence at high speed... the great success of the bike it´s not but the suspension system cause the geometries are aligned with so great bikes such the nomad3 or giant reign. (really aggresive)
The point about the suspension is the feeling of be controlled and simultaneously absorving all the imperfections of the terrain, it´s not has any bobbing and the monarch performs really well.. better than expected to be honest.
