Haha! Don't get me wrong... I do, but I have a lot of crank / pedal strikes on this thing. It's pretty low. I'd feel guilty smacking the hell out of a set of carbon cranks
It does indeed. I think I saw a Banshee hanging in your shop (in the last vid you posted). How do you like it? My uncle just picked up a Rune. I can't wait to see it.
excellent choice. pretty incredible value for what came with the frame. climbs really well with a travel adjust fork and the DH capabilities are very much on par with your nomad. I have a 180 fork on there and I'm just under 65deg in the low setting. I was annoying some DH riders this summer. They didn't want to let me lead after seeing my bike (not a full DH sled) but then had trouble staying on my back tire. ha! I love it when you can pull stuff like that off. Sometimes the label of a bike isn't the full story. That's where I think the designers of the Rune deserve a lot of credit. and again, the thing can climb too! that used to be considered impossible. I'm running 26" wheels. Been working well but I'm sure I'll switch over eventually.
That's awesome to hear. I rode the park for 7 days at Crankworx on this thing, and saw no need for a long travel DH sled. Hats off to a lot of manufacturers these days. So many great quiver killer options out there now.
I'm still not sure if I can tell the difference between a 26" and 27.5" wheel yet, but I love em both regardless
Ya want to swap me cranks?
