@nikoniko: that might happen sooner than you think. we're looking at options and will be in touch, buddy. I want to hear the momo laugh echoing in the trees and to scratch the dragon's back again!

@buspilot: nice dude, nice. I'll check out Trussell for sure. The Derren Brown episode led me to his book which I'm listening to. Excellent. Juval Harari on Rich Roll or Dax Shepherd is good too. Harari's book Sapiens is quite gripping as well. Sam Harris is on good rotation too. Life is so full of information and being a naturally curious person I feel like I'm part way into an infinite buffet! Good time to be alive!

@WAKIdesigns: sh*t's gettin deep bro. Have you ventured into his biblical lectures? I grew up catholic then left it behind. After JP's lectures I'm coming back to the text but not the faith. Atheist christian? Good chat, dude. Sorry again to Josh about the plastering of ideas and thoughts on your wall! Kinda your fault for showing Rogan in the background tho. lol

@WAKIdesigns: haha, I can see why people are averse to JP as his delivery can be abrasive at times. Not to me but i recognize that it's there. I find him refreshing. Pay attention and tell the truth. Try and find fault with that. I put him somewhere in the pantheon next to Noam Chomsky even though they would probably disagree about capitalism. I suppose the unwashed masses over here are most familiar with the atrocities committed by the Nazis even though the allies dropped two nuclear bombs on civilian targets...like most things, the perception and belief is founded on a constructed story, much of it factual but most of it one sided. The other examples you mention didn't make the same cultural impact because it's happening far away and to other people. My parents came from a soviet occupied Czechoslovakia. I was born in Canada so always had the stories of the occupation playing in the background while my friends complained about the 27 christmas gifts they got but didn't like. It feels warped on many dimensions and to find the truth you first have to know to look for it. I'm not saying I'm woke or anything but feel the forces of control from time to time and normally don't accept the mainstream theater outlets (TV news, papers etc.). True awareness might be too terrifying to have and I have to manage the intake of new ideas with as much balance of dark and light as I can. I'm just glad I can dive deep into the podcast world to hear philosophical discourse take place. I try to listen to many perspectives and form my thoughts when I understand more. I'll likely never know the full truth but will enjoy the pursuit just the same.
