New steel arrival at home. This is x-mas present for my wife, Nord France singlespeed bike from '80s. All parts are made in France but I have upgraded the bike with wider Raleigh handlebar, white SKS mudguards and wired front basket, contemporary rear panniers rack and bags. The grips are made of a bar tape. ................................. And here's the question to you: what size are those wheels ?

This bike looks like it has done very little mileage, all parts are in excellent condition and the crankset feels very sturdy at the moment. Under a small female I'm not expecting them to fail. Fingers crossed Smile

no it wont fail, the cranks are very good if not used for jumping etc, i couldn't help myself.

Goggled some Speedwell's, nice bikes indeed! Post the pic dude! Smile
What got our attention when getting this one is thin, two-sided top tube which transforms into bended rear stays. It looks delicate and pretty unique.
It's not a typical city shopping cruiser, the geo of this bike is quite 'fast' - original handlebars were levelled with the saddle. Just posted another 'before' photo with already raised stem.

Should be a 650b considering it has been around for a long time in Europe.
