New steel arrival at home. This is x-mas present for my wife, Nord France singlespeed bike from '80s. All parts are made in France but I have upgraded the bike with wider Raleigh handlebar, white SKS mudguards and wired front basket, contemporary rear panniers rack and bags. The grips are made of a bar tape. ................................. And here's the question to you: what size are those wheels ?
This bike looks like it has done very little mileage, all parts are in excellent condition and the crankset feels very sturdy at the moment. Under a small female I'm not expecting them to fail. Fingers crossed
Goggled some Speedwell's, nice bikes indeed! Post the pic dude! What got our attention when getting this one is thin, two-sided top tube which transforms into bended rear stays. It looks delicate and pretty unique. It's not a typical city shopping cruiser, the geo of this bike is quite 'fast' - original handlebars were levelled with the saddle. Just posted another 'before' photo with already raised stem. www.pinkbike.com/photo/11740797
