Its a joke. Everyone automatically assumes that there is a funny or rude pic hiding in the circle and so you spend time staring into the circle and at the pattern on the bedding.
On the original version you can see it the same as here and once you click on it you get to see the rest of the writing on the bottom of the picture and it says 'I SPENT FIVE MINUTES STARING AT THIS HULA HOOP'...
