I've got a bell super and it's got some great features. Try them both and go with the best fit. The bell has three positions of the head harness that you should know about before you dial in the tension. Little push pins that pop out. I wore mine for a few months in the wrong position and didn't like the helmet. Once I set the push pins right problem went away. Hard to go wrong with these choices

I've tried both and end up buying a IXS Trail RS. The Bell doesn't fit my oval shaped head, the medium it's too tight and the large is to big. The A1 it's super comfortable and feels a lot of protection but my head looks like a giant mushroom with it on. I still have it for sale, it's the Pinstripe Red size XL.

you really need to try these helmets on. I would suggest buying them both to try and send one back. Remember if you buy from places like CRC with paypal pay after delivery, you will have sent one back before you have to pay for it! Big Grin

Bell Super is a litle bit on the heavy side. Apart from that, it has many features, camera mount, goggle tabs, chin bar... great helmet!

Yeah its good to have all those features but I'd probably never use the head camera mount or googles. I don't think the Bell Super 2 has the chin bar though, think thats the 2r version.

.....me neither! Smile ))) It has no chin guard, indeed, but you can mount one if you want, it has the same design like 2r

Oh right I get ya. You can buy it extra..lol...didn't realise that...

Can you actually buy one though?, can't find one.

Thanks. I wonder if they've not been out long those chin bars. Not many places that sell them.

I've got an A1 and it's the best lid I've ever used. So light and comfortable, you forget you're even wearing it.

Depending on your head size I would go for the Super, I would have one myself but they don't do a size big enough for me Frown

Well my head measures 57cm so I'd need a medium. I guess my head is not that big..Big Grin

I wish I could understand what people mean by there head shapes and how the helmets fit, lol, but I know thats not going to happen.

Its like everyones opiniobs are split 50/50 between the A1 and the Super..

And remember, no matter what you buy, you will regret that you have not bought vice versa!...

Yeah I do that often. Then buy the other one and realise I liked the first one better..lol.
