Right the entrance of the trail. I 've stoped here many times. First time i saw the dedication to Digger.

 yeah i dont think the govt paid for this bench and they dont build trails. This was probably paid for with private money by people who love the sport. Digger is well known and highly respected by his peers. In my personal oppinion he is like Bhudda or a Rock star! Nothing little about his reputation bro. Diggers the Man! But i know what you mean.

 Thats awesome! I didn't mean digger was little, his is a Buddha in our sport. But, in the eyes of the city, what we are doing is just a hobby and many don't consider it a lifestyle. I have been accused of never working too because in my videos, I never portray my work life. So, buddies have told me I need to work more and teach more, ahhahahaah I just laugh at them. Not many can understand the hours and years Digger has put into building! Its kind of odd but I get very passionate about things like this, where someone gets noticed for being a great person. One that defies our outlook on what society says life is supposed to be like! hahaahahah

 I call it gentrification of the sport. The North Shore riding scene is a commercial buisness to the city of North Van.
There is not the low key building that you get to enjoy . Everything is regulated and controlled.
Todd Fiander (digger) is paid by the city to maintain trails so he is very well known.
Still i know what you are saying . Out side of mountainbiking no one knows who he is.
Mind you i dont know politicians names or movie stars. hahahhahaahahahahaa.

 ....dudes!!!...the name of a person is one thing,but the name of the region he shaped and builded up is called North Shore!!! That´s the name everybody is using today in the hole bikeworld,if he means wooden trails= North Shore
I know no other example like that,so his name is stamped in the area. Hope you can follow!?

 We all watched the progression of mountain biking. It is here on the North Shore that trails were built to test the courage and the ability of riders. This is where long travel bikes and disk brakes were paramount to the evolution of free riding. Digger and a hand full of other trail builders forged the legacy . That we call the North Shore.
