i've hit the jump several times, know it well. It's a 30' to 60' launching step down depending on how hot you roll off the launch. The speed you get from the landing puts you hard on the brakes to slow down enough for the 35-40' table right after it. The guy in the pic is hitting about 30-35 feet judging by his height in the arc. When it comes to air that run is by far the best one i know.
Thank's everyone...I appreciate all the props...especially from all of you young Bros
I had a great year for racing in 2008...
But this jump was definetly a huge highlight for me!
Were you able to land on the landing or did you land on the flat? When I went to Bromont, I only saw one person try it.. he landed on the flat. Even so, it is pretty big! Props!
I landed so smooth on that particular jump...that it felt like I could have landed it with my hardtail!
BUT!...The next day I went back and hit it way tooooooo FAST and sailed past the landing and landed with all rear wheel...and crumpled myself into the ground. Now that was really scary seeing the landing fly by!!!
Result...Dislocated shoulder! Not too bad considering!
you ever seen it, or hit it ? didnt think so. pipe down and get a clue. dumbass. measured out by tape. tip of landing to lip 50 solid. bromont builds big jumps.
