did you by any chance use part a v10 the front looks similar but without the hump i really like it though

no i actually started looking at a RM switch and the turbosmooth modifier in the program gave it the roundness in the frame there, b4 it looked realy futuristic and hard lines nothing round, but this is basically all striat outta my brain, the switch was only inspiration because i like the motocross style swingarm

i see that sweet though looks like a sick design!!

Single pivot, and a long swingarm connected together by 1 link... Really like the design, but there's too much stress on that single pivot.

 thats why its really beefy

just remembered, go look at a 2004 specialized bighit sport comp single swingarm, single pivot no worries ever on that thing

it worked on the rocky mountain rmx9, this looks like it'll work too.

Yeah I know, but the rear chainstay and the pivot looks extremely tiny... You have to have more than 3inch-diameter bearings for this frame! lol

If you have forgotten, the RMX had few incidents where the frame was fatigued and later, the frame snapped. Snappage occurred on the chainstay, and also in your FACE
lol no offense, but I just had to say it!

well the rmx was in production for a long time so that frame design had to have something going for it for them to keep making them, and it's a much nicer looking bike than the flatline. wasn't aware of the problems with it, just it's in all the red bull rampages so that must mean they were making them, or something very similar for like 8-9 years. oh, aren't you a clever boy for your comeback. My point in the first place is that thia guy has put a lot of work into the green bike and i think it's great if it gets made.

You are completely misunderstanding me. Sorry if you aren't the type of guy that makes random jokes up, I'll take the "in your face" thing back. I'm not making fun of, or saying that this frame design is not competent or anything.

I am just saying that the chainstay looks dangerously thin, and that you'd need a bigger bearing to make up for all the pressure that goes onto the rear wheel.

Internet fights are meaningless, and I never intended to start it.

I would ride that thing. I'm sure there are some thing that need to change but it looks pretty good.

the piggy back on the shock will hit the frame when its compressed by the looks of things
  • 1 0
by the looks of things you're incorrect because i have that model rigged with animated linkage and it all clears

ah oki thn Smile , its problies just the angle, do you have a picture of it when its compressed ? Smile

i'll try and get one, also if all else fails i can just spin the shock 180 right

yh Smile , it might look better with the shock rotated actually, it wont make the pivot seem so bulky and over crowded.
whenn what ever you do its a sweet design pal Big Grin !
