Lol, ye, took off the tip. Can't use if for braking just yet (that was my main worry). But as the scars get harder and the nerves die down I will be able to use it again. They think it'll heal as a stumpy tip, with a nail but it's unknown to how the nail will grow.

The finger to the left of it is what happened 6 years ago, same way of doing it.

 It's fine now, a little sensitive, and a little weaker. But I can ride and still single finger brake with little problem. That's all that matters.

 I'd definitely take the time to slip the chain off if you're working on it. It's an accident waiting to happen, I just managed to be the unlucky bugger it happened to.

 My dog jumped up at me when I was cleaning the fixed gear's rims. And the cloth I had in my hand got tugged through my crank. Along with my finger. The other part got eaten by my dog when I ran inside. That creeped me the fuck out.

 Nah, he's just a scavenger. Wouldn't bite me if I tried to get him to. But if I drop anything (including tools or parts) he'll eat it, or at least try.
