That is the worst possible boxxer you can get, worse than the race, and the front brake cable routing is retarded. I hope a bike of this caliber at least comes with a decent fork on it.
This is the boxxer RC, It has compression and rebound adjustments, but they arent as precise as the race. there is no high/low speed compression or rebound. no bottom out control and its coil and oil like the race. I just hope the final spec of this bike will at least come with a world cup or a 40. this is a serious shred machine and it deserves better
No, it's the Boxxer Race. What you are describing is the Boxxer Team with it's greater adjustment. There is nothing wrong with the Race forks, a lot of the guys I race with regularly have been using them this season without issue, myself included. Granted they don't have all the bells and whistles like some but for the price they are a good bit of kit. Don't forget, not everyone has a bottomless pit of cash to fund their bike with - and this is the Team spec, the World Cup is the one above it and comes with 40's etc.
yes, i raced with the boxxer race as well, no doubt, all the boxxers are good, and its my fault i did not know there was a better "version" or better spec'ed fury. sorry for the confusion, although i did spot some boxxer RC's without a rebound adjustment on the new Specialized big hits. not sure why or how it passed inspection. again sorry for the confusion, didnt know there was going to be a world cup spec for this bike
This thing here, makes me wonder... shouldn't bikes look a bit more: enviornment friendly... something destroys the mellow landscape here : I mean the colours!
How are you supposed to access the adjusters on the shock? Most shocks have an adjuster on the side blocked by the frame, even the ones that aren't IN the frame look hard to get too...
