How do you like that post? I've been riding Gravity Dropper due to effectiveness of mechanical internals...but I wanna try the Kind Shock for the 5 inch drop.

Mike has a hard on for it, but the new RockShox Reverb is what he is waiting on now. I am waiting on the 5 inch Gravity Dropper as it's coming out soon too.

Been calling GD for months. 5 inch was due out in May. Still not available as far as I know.

 is that a 36mm fork or a 32mm fork?

This is the 32 w/ Kashima.

that thing has got to break 15grand.
  • 2 0
Probably not. I'd guess about $7500 USD.

No idea, but it is the aluminum frame, not the carbon.

Well the Remedy 8 retails for $3099 USD, and the only thing stock on your bike is the frame. Trek doesn't sell the aluminum Remedy as a frame only, but I'd guess that if they did it'd be around $1500-1700 USD (considering the MSRP of the whole bike). Tack on a 2011 Fox Talas 32 150mm at $890 USD, an XTR drivetrain build at $2000 USD (approximate), XTR wheels at about $1050, plus the rest of your parts (guesstimated value at $655 and including the prices for the headset, stem, handlebars, saddle, seatpost, pedals, and tires).

My original guess was a bit high, this actually comes out to $6295. Still a pretty penny for a bike.

Don't get me wrong, my Nomad C is worth over $8000. I know the value of an expensive bike Big Grin

ugh... NomadC definitely deserves a 5500$ build...
