After 10 hours of filing and grinding down the inside on the CNC seat post area and flipping the DW-Link since the shock wasn't get a full stroke length, it finally fits. Big thanks to oldschoolj for helping me out to make this happen!

Well done on getting to fit Smile did you get the vivid link ? or did you do some careful sanding away ?

Thanks dude Smile and this is a 2009 model so it already came with the vivid linkage

Cool man mine was the first batch of factories so didn't come with the vivid link cant seem to find one any where although i seen people just taking out the brace and fitting RC4s. How did you get it to fit if you don't mind me asking ?

Oh ok, that sucks! What year is yours anyways? I wouldn't suggest cutting your brace, your rear end will go as loose as a noodle. Check this shop site out, its the only one that I can find that still sells all the IronHorse Sunday parts: http://www.pearcecycles.co.uk/product_list/209. As for getting the vivid air to fit, it took alot of grinding and filing out of the inside CNC seat post area. It fits perfecty now with over 3mm of space on both sides of the air can

Mines early 2008 Smile I saw it done here www.ridemonkey.com/forums/f19/official-iron-horse-sunday-dw-link-tech-tuning-section-168138 its pretty useful to be fair. Hmm im looking to getting a Xfusion Vector HLR cant seem to find many reviews on it though. What end weight are you looking at ?

2008 should have the vivid link Confused and I've been in that forum quiet a few times. Its useful and handy since theres nothing else out there to rely on. And the x-fusion isn't very popular but a friend of mine uses one and loves it. He'd take it over a fox rc4 anyday! Your link might not work with it tho. As for my Sunday, I'm hoping to get this to weigh in at around 33 lbs. Its just a guess but with all the light specs I'm going for I should be close!

It should but because it was the first batch in 2008 it came with the Fox DHX 5 with out the vivid link i have been led to believe any way. Hmm i know i just don't link the DHX 5 it just doesn't seem to perform that well . 33 pounds fair does that is good weight good luck Smile

Oh ok, that sucks dude. If your bike came with a dhx 5.0 then thats all it can take unless you go out and buy a new dw-link seperately. The dhx 5.0 isn't the best shock for this suspension design but it gets the job done! If you were to get the BOS link to fit a Fox RC4 in that'd be awesome and the bike wold perform so much better

Yeah i heard about the BOS links they no longer do them anymore which is shame unless i pestered them a lot for one.

What do they not make them anymore Confused that's such a shame! You must be able to find one somewhere?

Awesome you got it to fit the frame, looks really clean!
