Santa Cruz V10 (Full Carbon Build)

$4800 CAD
Hey PinkBike, today marks a sad day as I am parting ways with my beloved DH bike. I have a mint condition, well taken care of, full carbon build, 2014 Santa Cruz V10 bike for $4800 obo! No corners were cut and nothing was cheaped out on when I built this bike up. It has top of the line everything. The entire frame and fork lowers have been wrapped with 3M helicopter tape. The bike is running a 27.5" front wheel and a 26" rear wheel. It's a bit of a frankenstine bike but it rides amazingly and you could never tell it has two different sized wheels. I'll be uploading some newer pictures of my bike soon, but for now here's an older pic to get you drilling over this bad-ass bike!!! The specs for it are: - 2014 SantaCruz v10 (size medium, can be run in 10" or 8.5" mode of travel, and comes with two linkages; one black/one gold) - 2014 Marzocchi 380 C2R2 Titanium Ti-Nitrate coating (tapered steer tube) - 2017 Fox DH X2 with a Marzocchi 500 lbs titanium coil - Raceface SixC 10mm rise / 35mm clamp handle bar - Chromag BZA DH 35mm direct mount stem - Easton lock-on grips (black) - Sram Guide RSC front and rear brakes (chrome coloured) - Sintered brake pads (95% life left) - Hope Saw Blade full floater rotors (red and 200mm front / 180mm rear) - Sram X01 DH 7 speed shifter and derailleur - Sram X01 DH 7 speed XD driver cassette - Light Bicycles 38mm outer width and 31.6mm inner width carbon rims with an extra layer of carbon added for strength (27.5" aka. 650B 32 hole front rim and 26" 36 hole rear rim) - Onyx Racing hubs (20mm front and 12x156mm rear) - Double butted J-bent spokes (32 spokes front and 36 spokes rear) - Slik Graphics Enve decals - Schwalbe Magic Mary 2.5 Vert Star front tire (setup tubeless) - Schwalbe Muddy Mary 2.5 Freeride (now called Vert Star) rear tire (setup tubeless) - Hope 1.5" headset with Enduro Bearings - Raceface SixC cranks and Race Face bottom bracket - Raceface 36 tooth narrow wide chain ring (red) - KMC Gold 11 speed chain - MRP G3 taco style chain guide (black) - Raceface SixC seat post and Raceface Atlas I-beam seat - Hope seat clamp (red) - Shimano derailleur cable housing - Pedals not included! I can sell you a Cane Creek AngleSet headset for an additional $50 if you don't want the Hope head set. Pedals are not included. Email me if you are interested. Please do not waste my time with low ball offers and low end bike trades. I would prefer to meet up locally but I can ship only after an E-transfer or PayPal transfer has been completed. Buyer pays for all shipping costs and Paypal fees! **** Will only trade for an Evil Wreckoning 29er trail bike ****

Carbon Conundrum - Pole Bicycles Ditch Their Plastic Project
I give this guy big props for what he is doing! I'm curious to know what revolutionary project he's up to? It's a shame that carbon recycling isn't mandated overseas. How can anyone think ocean fill is okay :(

CushCore Tire Insert - Review
Looks good and it all sounds good but $149 USD ain't cool. I think I'll just go to the dollar store and buy a pool noodle, split it in half and presto that's my alternative

Pinion Gearbox to Enter US and Canada
Just read up on the new Zerode Taniwha. Sounds like an amazing bike and a great drivetrain. Makes me want to get a gear box now, especially since it has a wider gear ratio then Sram's Eagle!!!

Everything You Need to Know About Kona's New Process Bikes
"We switched to this design specifically because, one, it falls in line with all the other bikes we see in this room [referencing the rest of their MTB range w/ vertical shocks]" Why is everyone trying to make their bikes look like trek's and Norco's
