 Do you use pw's.....if soo is it the mini and flex??

 Yes. I use the Flex TT5 as a transmitter, so that I can reliably get 1/320s sync at any flash power or up to 1/640s at half or full power. Receivers are a mix of Multimax's and Plus II's. I have tried the Mini/Flex with TTL, and it just isn't very consistent. There is no true manual operation with TTL, so every photo comes out slightly different. Manual control of everything is the only way to be reliable and consistent, for now anyways.

 Have you tried the mini with the ac3 zone controller? I've had good results when you throw that on and set the flash values manually. With that you can ittl or full manual all from the dials up top

 I did try an ac3 and it didn't work very well. I'll try again, but I was prepared to ebay them. In theory, the ac3 would be so great since you don't have to go around and adjust each flash manually.

 Figuratively. It's where I spend most of my biking time and is a 45 minute bike ride from my house.

 i have a trail like this in my "back yard as well" but it is a 10 minute ride from my house it isnt as steep but is extremely rocky, i am building it out some today, i am extremely jeoulous of you, washington/oregon/montana/canada, all seem to have trails everywhere and riders seem to just cut throw the forest and find amazing trails
