One of the tricks the pros use: a shock thrust bearing will allow the spring to compress without any binding, allowing just that much more supple suspension action. Kinda key when the golfing green up top turns into a bombed out "rough".

Makes the initial responsivenes much smoother! And more plush overall.
Should improve traction (but that's kind of hard to tell ?)

K9 still makes them also, recently tried one for the Fox 40 and works great! gonna order one soon enough. I'm very pleased with my ti-springs.com ti coil. so I'm wondering if the fork bearing is as well manufactured as the K9 one. That fits the fork even better than those standard Fox spacers. For the shock I'm definitely ordering a ti-springs.com.
