PRO: More surface area than the Eggbeaters makes these a win in my book. They allow for some movement of your foot while clipped in depending on your choice of 15 or 20 degree release angle. They're easy enough to get out of in a crash to not get tangled in the bike. Can be used without the cleats if you want to make a short commute. Never had them clog.
CON: Have had some difficulty clipping in when using the road cleat at times along with not being able to feel if I clipped in or just spun the spindle.
OVERALL: Great pedals for the price. Flat enough to ride casually without the cleats.

Using for two years on daily commute including rain, salt, and snow, until the bearings disintegrated and the pedal body fell off. Rebuilt it with the $13 kit from MEC and it's as good as new. Still using the same pair of cleats.

Kickplates fell off pretty quickly after a few hits to the curb squeezing around cars... not essential for the functioning of the pedal, and I guess they weigh less now. The resin body seems to be holding up better. Haven't had any problems with the springs going slack or out of adjustment.

Seems like a solid pedal for commuting; not sure what it would be like for mountain biking. Nice to have the small pedal body to pedal on when starting up from traffic lights etc... enough support to get you going while you clip in, so you don't have to lean against a lamp post.

I have ridden these pedals for years. I had the standard Candys before them.

They are super reliable, easy in and out, great for my knees.

They clear mud reasonably well. I have a set of eggbeaters for super gloopy conditions.

Love the crank brothers pedals. 4 way entry, easy on the knees, has a plastic platform clip you can add for when you just want to pedal around.

Running these on the single speed road bike. It's nice being able to clip in from any direction in a hurry. The little bit of platform is nice on longer rides.

First clipless pedals, so far very happy with the performance. Easy to get in and out of and platform is nice just in case.
