An amazing pedal for the money!!
I used to ride with time atacs and found them very hard to clip in and out of, then i got egg beaters and they are amazing! it is so easy to clip in and out of them.
A must by for any clipless rider!

I've been using these for the last 4 years, and they have never once given me any reason to switch. They shed mud, rocks and anything else with ease and are super easy to overhaul. The only reason I ever see myself ceasing to use these 'beaters are when I eventually upgrade to a lighter version, but even then I will lovingly hand this set over to my GF.

 Minimalist pedal

Pros: 4 sided entry, no trouble getting in, doesn't hold mud, the ultimate in keeping it simple

Cons: not a pedal you will want to ride in street shoes. If you miss clipping in there is not much to fall back on.

Good all around pedal for Ontario trails. Easy to get into no matter what is happening in your section of trail. Lock in from front or rear of clips. Brass shoe clips seem to be quite durable. Twenty+ 3hr trail rides and counting....

Love em'! I've got them on my hardtail and my full suspension xc bikes. I dont know if I'd use them on jumps or anything though. But for fast XC trails they are a must have for me!

I run them on my commuter, and although that takes as little a beating as you can imagine, they have held up fine after a couple months.
