Excellent for the money - respectable weight, smooth-rolling hubs, strong enough rims to survive a reasonable amount of abuse, and stylish looks (although replacing the flat-bladed spokes in case of breakage may be a problem). I've been riding on them for a little over a year, on fairly harsh trails (very rocky, pretty steep with a fair few medium-sized drop-offs), and aside from having to tighten a couple of spokes once or twice, they're holding up very nicely, with the hubs rolling as smoothly as the day I bought them.

Obviously a low-end wheelset compared with some of Mavic's more expensive offerings - they aren't tubeless-compatible without a conversion kit, and they won't survive serious abuse from a heavy rider for long - but for a hard cross-country/light all-mountain rider on a budget, they're an excellent buy.

when my stock wheels broke on my XC bike i bought a set of these, first ride i noticed they were so light! it turned in sooo quick, and when i managed to snap my mech by catching it in the spokes....
.... the flat spokes still work fine evev with a slight kink in them :S

Great product for the money! respectable weight, smooth rolling hub and nice style with the bladed spokes that are handling themselves nicely. Though they are XC rims, they can handle a pretty good beating without any issues in my experience with them. Obviously not top end from mavic, but you get a great ride for the price you pay

Rating these at 5 stars due to great price point versus value. Great lateral rigidity, probably due to the straight through spoke design. Support both axle standards. Staying true through rock gardens (3+ times a week). Solid feel on fast XC sweeps as well. Running 2.35's, which seat and fit nicely.

These rims kill for the money. They withstand my abuse, and are waaaay lighter than anything for the money. Good fast rolling hubs, stiff, responsive, one of the best deals ever for rims that can handle all mountain.

Unreal XC wheels for the price... I have ridden the shit out of mine for two years, and I am no lightweight, and I'm never had to true them once. Wicked deal

Amazing wheel. Never had to adjust the spokes once, even after a few hundred miles of UK riding. Good hub pickup, and it makes a nice noise!

pretty stiff, good wheels for xc/trial riding, I've bottomed the rear two times with no sankebites (!), very nice hubs! Too fragile for allmountain/enduro ridingBig Grin

Bought these wheels for $100 from a buddy and they have been the best investment on my bike. They're durable and not too heavy.

Light and yet very durable for XC/AM riding. Although they are not UST spec'd rims, I am running them tubeless by way of Stan's.

Mavic Crossride Disc (MSRP $249.9) — Entry level at Mavic always means full quality and reliability. This is even truer this year with the new Crossride. 40g lighter thanks to new hubs but also stiffer with a new rim profile, the Crossride Disc just keeps getting better, still an incredible value.
