I absolutely love this guide, I am on my fourth year with the same one. This guide rocks. Light, easy to install and definitely durable enough for DH. This guide flexes a bit under hard hits, but it prevents things from getting broken as result. Its expensive, but I would rather spend $200 once for a 5 year guide than $100 each year for a new guide.

One of the logic in bicycle and almost everything is that the most expensive thing is one of the greatest!

MRP System 3 Carbon (MSRP $230) — So you want to be as fast as Steve Peat and Brian Lopes? Can’t help you there, but we can set you up with the chain guide they insist on using. Weighing in at a scant 215 grams, the System 3 Carbon is one of the lightest complete chain guide systems on the market. In fact, it’s so light you won’t be able to tell a difference even if you eat that extra donut in the morning. So go ahead, indulge. Go Carbon.
