Nice truck but that paint is awfully shiny to be used as a prerunner much. My stock Tundra has more scratches and prerun miles than a lot of the "prerunners" I see around town. Cool looking truck, for sure, though. I'd use the hell out of it.

Well, I'd have to disagree with your sentiment there. I've been to enough Nascar, Moto-x, and local dirt track races to know that idiots cheering for wrecks are not exclusive to the Mexican race, and neither is theft. I've had just as much of my racing gear, etc. stolen here as I have in Mexico, if not more. I would also venture to guess that if we had all of our races through our city streets & towns (instead of behind big fences) you'd see the same stuff happening here. I can also tell you that if I called Tim & Blaise (my 2 friends in the car) and told them we were racing in Mexico next week they would be down there in a second- We love Mexico and the people there (99% of them anyway, about the same % as anywhere else). Maybe a few of you should take a trip down sometime, you might be surprised.

yeah i race desert in d37 and its super fun i also race downhill mtb as well, im really good friends with stinkybigd and he said that race was really good

we were running very well, flat tire cost us a few min but thats about it. we averaged over 50mph every lap

hey man, we got second place, we were pretty happy with it and ya we had to cut across the desert to our main pit and then go back and hop into the wash right before that hard left going away from the drylake. held us up for a good 2-3 min. but we got right back into the race, you guys got 3rd right?

Thanks! I think I got a little lucky. I only hit that run 2 times that day (1 practice, then the race run). I was on the other side of the trail in my practice run, both feet behind me and with the seat pounding me in the groin and lower stomach!! I barely pulled it off, ha,ha! Where is the video when you need it?!
