The problem with many motor sports is that a large part of the competition is between machines. Right now, mountain biking is largely rider oriented. Every steroid shot, every motor, and every short cut is just another cut corner that pulls away from rider achievement.
Cycling is attractive to me as a challenge. In every discipline I ride there are milestones and achievements. This sort of assistance cheapens them.
On the other hand, not all riders are interested in achievement. Some are just going to the shop or to work. To these riders I say ... NOTHING! They're boring! I want nothing to do with them or their 'bicycles'.

we didn't get the two best crashes that day on camera.... james hit hard off the drop and sprained his ankle and i had a crazy slide across the wood bridge and ended up in the water

The drop we made at the beginning is a little over 15 feet to a shallow landing.... with a bit more work it will be glorious.
