Custom steel road bike
$500 USDCustom Steel frame road bike. 56cm top tube with a 50 cm seat tube. Could fit someone 5'9" with short legs. 1998 shimano dura ace, wound up carbon fork and Mavic wheelset. New-ish drivetrain. Can throw in extras (time titanium pedals from same year, stem, handle bars)
Great starter bike. Too big for me. 1" quill stem. Built by a frame builder in San Francisco, Zic Zac, now de funct.

I actually did the breast cancer awareness ride put on by YSC. I was deeply moved by everyone there from former pro riders to survivors living with the cancer and doing the 200+ miles of Southern California roads.. Also met the founder of
F*Cancer. Hats off to you Dustin.

The irony is that there's no "transparency" in objects like bicycle helmets, water hydration packs and tire pumps!
